JCL's brand alignment addresses logistics requirements

The logistics service provider JCL Logistics presents itself with a new slogan, a new mission statement and a new vision. The company wants to position itself in the future in order to meet the changing logistics requirements of its customers. The new brand elements emphasize the focus on dynamic and sustainable solutions.

This is the new slogan, the new mission statement and the new vision of JCL: Slogan - Moving your world forward. Mission - "We offer our customers the competitive advantage for their business through innovative logistics services and excellent service". Vision - "We shape the logistics of the future by offering our customers excellent products through a combination of sustainability, efficiency and digitalization".

The new slogan "Moving your world forward" underlines the element of movement as part of JCL's DNA. The slogan stands for the fact that the company wants to advance the business development of its customers with its extensive service portfolio - overland transportation, sea freight, air freight, contract logistics and B2C. The new mission statement emphasizes JCL's customer-oriented approach and innovative solutions. The vision illustrates the logistics provider's conviction that a successful future is based on digital services, a stronger focus on the environment and increased efficiency. Svend Hartog, Spokesman of the Executive Board, explains that the decision to update JCL's slogan, mission and vision is part of a larger, company-wide strategy: "Over the past year, we have made important organizational changes to become even more flexible as a company. This inspired us to also revise our brand identity."

In 2020, JCL restructured its management with the aim of developing into a product-oriented company. The focus is on direct communication and fast response times. This year, the management team has already implemented several measures to prepare JCL for a successful future. For example, the Executive Board has developed a new strategy for environmental, social and governance (ESG). In addition, further environmentally friendly transport options were added for customers and an internal digitalization strategy was introduced.

"The logistics industry is undergoing rapid change, and JCL is proactively adapting to these changes," explains Svend Hartog. "Our new slogan, our new mission statement and our new vision illustrate our ambition to meet the changing requirements in logistics. We also want to empower our employees to meet these challenges in a dynamic industry." The JCL Group is an owner-managed logistics specialist with 1,300 employees in eight countries and 55 own branches.
