ITG receives GDP certificate
ITG Air & Sea GmbH has been GDP-certified at its Nuremberg, Frankfurt and Düsseldorf sites since January 2021.
The air and sea freight specialists in the ITG Group offer GDP-compliant order and quality management as well as temperature-controlled transportation in the 2 to 8°C and 15 to 25°C range. The transport services are complemented by a holistic approach and GDP-compliant supply chain management. In addition, a qualified 24/7 Pharma Service Desk is available to customers.
The ITG branch in Nuremberg has been organizing air and sea freight shipments in the pharmaceutical sector for many years and takes care of all related tasks. Last year, this expertise supported all other ITG stations in the handling of numerous transports with protective equipment. In order to further expand the services in the pharmaceutical, life science and healthcare sectors, the branches in Nuremberg, Frankfurt and Düsseldorf were certified in accordance with GDP.
These locations now act as hubs in Germany for temperature-controlled transportation. In a holistic approach, specialists take care of GDP-compliant supply chain management, focusing on the specific requirements of the clients and their final recipients. In addition, a qualified Pharma Service Desk is available around the clock to respond to changes or identified deviations at any time. Together with the contract logistics services of the parent company LGI Logistics Group International, end-to-end solutions are provided from a single source, allowing customers to concentrate on their core business.
