Strategic cooperation
Hellmann and Qwyk start cooperation in digitization
Hellmann Worldwide Logistics and the Dutch start-up Qwyk, which claims to operate the largest database for schedules in the FCL, LCL and airfreight sectors, have announced a global collaboration. Qwyk has been providing data for Hellmann's global LCL schedules since July. The real-time data is made available to customers via the digital front end "Hellmann Portal".
The availability of more than 2,500 weekly direct LCL departures currently offered by Hellmann increases the transparency of sea transportation. Up-to-date information on available transport capacities and clearly defined departure and arrival dates enable the optimization of the entire supply chain management as well as pre- and on-carriage processes.
The cooperation with Qwyk is an important cornerstone of Hellmann's digitalization strategy and a milestone in the optimization of LCL customer service. By providing a transparent and digital service offering in real time and at the same time reducing manual processes through direct and automated access to live data, the efficiency of transport chains is significantly increased.
Norman Setzkorn, Global Head of LCL at Hellmann Worldwide Logistics emphasizes: "The roadmap initiative is part of our global digital agenda in which we develop solutions and applications for our customers to support their supply chains. Qwyk is a perfect partner for us to digitize processes in our LCL business. With the new database, our customers will have full access to all our schedules worldwide and can choose the connection that suits their individual needs."
