Logistics service providers: Heavy lift logistics company Gustav Seeland expands management board

Hamburg, 28.02.2018 - Gustav Seeland GmbH has appointed Johann Evers as its second Managing Director. In his new role, he is responsible for sales, digitalization and the development of new business areas. Managing Partner Frank Beckedorf will focus his work on corporate finance and controlling in future. Johann Evers is no stranger to Gustav Seeland GmbH. The 32-year-old has been with the company since 2012 and has been Head of Sales and Marketing since 2014. He had previously studied media management at the Macromedia University of Applied Sciences in Hamburg. He also holds a master craftsman's certificate in the field of energy and building electronics.

As Head of Sales and Marketing, Johann Evers was responsible for all areas of heavy goods logistics such as transportation, crane operations, assembly, storage and the coordination of major projects. In this role, he also introduced SCCP certification for the company for the first time, making him an expert in quality standards and occupational safety. As the second Managing Director, he will lead Gustav Seeland GmbH into the next generation. He will be responsible for the operational business, corporate development and the challenge of digitalization.

Frank Beckedorf is looking forward to working closely with Johann Evers. "As an experienced heavy goods logistics expert who has been associated with the company for a long time, he will lead Gustav Seeland GmbH into a secure future." As Managing Director, Johann Evers is ready to take on the challenge: "Above all, I will drive forward digitalization and business area development and thus further expand our company's strong position in the changing markets." red
