Geis reaches one billion euros in sales for the first time
The Geis Group closed the past financial year with a new sales record: in 2019, the international logistics service provider generated net sales of 1,038.0 million euros, exceeding the billion euro mark for the first time.
Turnover up 9.5 percent compared to 2018. "2019 was a very good financial year overall," say Managing Partners Hans-Georg Geis and Wolfgang Geis. "We are satisfied with our turnover and results." The number of transport and logistics orders rose by 5.3% in line with turnover: in 2019, the 6,437 employees of the Geis Group handled a total of 9.87 million orders.

After a good start to 2020, the Geis Group's expectations for the current financial year have been dampened by the coronavirus crisis: "At the moment, we are unable to make a forecast as to how 2020 will develop," explain Hans-Georg Geis and Wolfgang Geis.
