Geis awards logistics prize to FHWS graduates

Schweinfurt/Nuremberg, 14.08.17 - Dr. Johannes Söllner, Managing Director of Geis Holding, presented the Geis Group's newly created Logistics Sponsorship Award on Friday, 28 July 2017. He presented the prize to the three best graduates of the logistics course at the University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt (FHWS).
Beaming with joy, the three students accepted the award in the form of an award, a certificate and prize money. Anna Dereser achieved first place as the best graduate. She was followed by Samantha Leubner in second place and Dave Messal in third place. The award ceremony took place in Schweinfurt Town Hall.
"Promoting young logistics talent is very important to us," says Dr. Johannes Söllner. "Among other things, we have been working closely with the Würzburg-Schweinfurt University of Applied Sciences for many years." The close proximity between Geis and the university also contributes to the good cooperation. Geis is also active as a practice partner of the FHWS.
"We are delighted to be able to honor the outstanding achievements and above-average commitment of the students," said Dr. Johannes Söllner at the award ceremony. "We wish the award winners all the best for their careers in the future-oriented logistics sector."
