Future Logistics Congress: What does digitalization make possible?
Dortmund, 13.07.2018 - This year's Future Logistics Congress will take place on September 11 and 12. At the "ZukunftsPlenum" on the first day of the congress, everything will revolve around the changes in logistics made possible by intelligent networking and digitalization. Speakers from science and business will discuss the digital transformation in the logistics industry around the topic of Logistics 4.0. Selected start-ups will also be able to prove themselves in a pitch session. The winner will receive the "Digital Logistics Award".
On the second day of the congress, the Fraunhofer Symposium "Social Networked Industry" will then be dedicated to five parallel sequences on the challenges of digitalization in logistics. In addition to the topics "Management of Industry 4.0 in implementation in SMEs", "Digitalization in the supply chain", "Urban logistics as a driver of innovation", "Artificial intelligence in logistics" and "Logistics as an enabler for circular value creation", congress participants will be able to experience first-hand at stations how innovations from the Fraunhofer IML bring people and technology together as partners in the logistics of tomorrow. mm
