Efficiency in the warehouse
Automation and efficiency in the warehouse were the main topics at Dachser's trade fair stand. The logistics service provider wants to show how new technologies increase flexibility, support employees and ensure greater cost efficiency.
In the warehouse, Dachser is increasingly using new technologies to continuously optimize processes. These include active exoskeletons that support employees when lifting and carrying heavy loads. Driverless transport vehicles (AGVs) also relieve the burden on staff. They take over routine tasks such as transporting goods from incoming goods to the transfer zones in a high-bay warehouse. Another focus is on the automation of value-added services and small parts picking. The demands on logistics service providers are increasing. Holistic contract logistics solutions remain the ideal way to make supply chains not only efficient but also resilient. Dachser combines its global transport network with efficient warehousing and customer-specific value-added services.
