Craiss manages the warehouses of customers from the automotive, mechanical engineering, toolmaking, electrical and retail sectors in the city on the border with France. The comprehensive logistics services include goods receipt, packaging and dispatch. If required, the logistics specialist can also provide additional services such as picking, sequencing, packing and assembly.

"By expanding our warehouse in Karlsruhe, we are responding to the ever-increasing demand for intelligent logistics solutions," says Jörg Schneider, Managing Director Contract Logistics at Albert Craiss GmbH & Co KG. The multi-client warehouse center in the west of Baden-Württemberg now has over 18,000 square meters, equipped with a modern mobile racking system. "Block areas and Euro pallet spaces are now free again and directly available," Schneider continues. With a rail connection and its immediate proximity to the Rhine port, the warehouse is not only connected to the road, but can also be reached by river and rail.

With its eleven multi-user and dedicated warehouses across Germany, Craiss has a total of 170,000 square meters of storage space. All warehouses are equipped with an in-house warehouse management system. Scanner-based processes for goods handling enable a fast and transparent digital flow of information, which also includes the customer system thanks to corresponding interfaces.
