Pfenning Logistics
"We will continue to make targeted investments this year and take a holistic approach"
Logistics is largely experiencing a phase of prosperity, growth and increasing recognition and appreciation. Logistics service providers, container carriers and air freight forwarders who know how to meet customers' short-term requirements efficiently and flexibly will benefit. Despite the many challenges posed by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, Pfenning Logistics has also come through the last two years safely and successfully and is optimistic about 2022. This is thanks to our proactive strategy and agility as a family-run company. We have achieved significant growth both in the depth of our services and in the geographical coverage of our warehouse and logistics network. We intend to consolidate and further expand these in the near future.
Nevertheless, exceptional peaks, production stoppages and delivery bottlenecks took their toll on our logistics specialists. The limitations of the existing shortage of skilled workers did the rest. This will also be reflected in the financial year that has just begun and calls for creativity and active communication. In any case, we are not lacking in optimism and drive; after all, it is part of our DNA to find solutions to challenges that arise at short notice. We will continue to make targeted investments this year, weighing them up holistically, not only in terms of customer benefit and profitability, but also in terms of their contribution to environmental and social sustainability.
