40 million investment costs
The logistics center will be built to the DGNB Gold standard using high-quality construction methods. The investment costs amount to around 40 million euros. The logistics center will be marketed by Colliers International Leipzig. Panattoni Europe sees the forward-looking development at Leipzig/Halle Airport as a further milestone in its strategy of building logistics parks at important locations and attracting logistics and commercial companies. Fred-Markus Bohne, Managing Partner Panattoni Europe, explains: "The establishment of logistics centers always entails a series of value creation potentials. It means tax revenue, employment and revitalization of the region. The right property in the right location is a win-win situation for everyone."

Leipzig/Halle Airport: Germany's second largest cargo airport
The site is in an extremely convenient location. It is directly adjacent to Leipzig/Halle Airport and has direct access to the A 9, A 14 and A 38 freeways as well as the A 6 federal highway. "Leipzig/Halle Airport is the second-largest cargo airport in Germany and the fifth-largest air cargo transshipment point in Europe, and is the base for DHL Aviation cargo airlines in particular, with above-average growth rates. The airport is the focus of global activities to link logistics concepts. The immediate proximity of the automotive industry's production facilities indicates the absolute attractiveness of the location. The excellent transport links to freeways and main roads as well as state-of-the-art rail freight facilities complement these optimal conditions," says Dieter Vornhagen, Chairman of Airport Development AG.
