Still launches multifunctional tractor with lifting function
Towing, stacking and moving - these tasks within production and logistics can now be carried out with just one machine: The new Still LTX-FF 05/10 multifunctional tow tractor, which can pull trailer loads of up to 5000 kg in tugger train operation and other towing applications and lift loads of up to 1000 kg to a height of up to 1750 mm with its folding forks - and all this with compact external dimensions.
With a vehicle width of 800 mm and a turning radius of less than 1.5 m, precise work is possible even in the narrowest aisles. Thanks to a patented mechanism, the cantilevered forks can be folded in and out at the touch of a button, while the integrated fork tilt ensures that the load remains securely in position. When towing, the LTX-FF reaches a speed of 13 km/h and the vehicle is optionally available with lithium-ion technology for availability in multi-shift operations. According to Still, the vehicle is the "only series-produced vehicle of its kind in the world" to cover the two core requirements of production supply: towing and stacking.
"Thanks to its wide range of options, the LTX-FF can be seamlessly integrated into modern production concepts. It impresses with its strong performance. The multifunctional tugger opens up new ways for operators to plan their resources and equipment efficiently, allowing them to reduce acquisition and operating costs at the same time," explains Florian Meyke, Product Manager Warehouse Technology Class III at Still GmbH.
