Sato: New app for secure label printing

Sato, a leading international provider of Auto-ID solutions, has developed a new application in collaboration with software provider LRS. It prevents labels from being printed twice or not at all after an interruption in the printing process. The new app improves efficiency and avoids printing errors by enabling bi-directional, PJL-controlled transmission of data to Sato CLNX series label printers via VPSX. This functionality allows the printer to resume printing at the exact point where it was previously interrupted if the process is interrupted, without the need for operator intervention. Labels that are printed twice or not at all can also have serious and costly consequences.
