BASF is planning to invest €25.6 billion between 2022 and 2026, €2.7 billion more than in the previous planning period from 2021 to 2025. "The main reason for this is our two major growth projects: the new Verbund site in Zhanjiang and our activities in the field of battery materials," says Hans-Ulrich Engel.
