topsystem appoints new Sales Director Europe
Frank Rissler has been the new Sales Director Europe at voice specialist topsystem since January 1. With Rissler, the system house, which is part of the EPG (Ehrhardt + Partner Group), has brought an expert from the Auto-ID sector on board. The 56-year-old can look back on a career with various well-known suppliers, including Sato, Zebra, Datalogic, Vocollect, Honeywell and Citizen Systems.
In this position, the 56-year-old will be responsible for sales and the further strategic direction of the company in Europe. This includes supporting and developing the employees in the team, as well as looking after key accounts and partners with the aim of driving the international business forward. Rissler has over 28 years of experience in the Auto-ID industry in various positions of responsibility. He began his career in 1991 at Sato Europe as product manager for label printers in Europe. In 1994, he moved into sales. This was followed by 10 years at Zebra, initially as Region Manager, later as Sales Manager Central Europe, two years at Datalogic as Sales Manager Scanner and seven years at Vocollect as Region Director Central and Eastern Europe. Most recently, Rissler spent three years at Citizen Systems as Sales Director EMEA.
For Rissler, the move to topsystem is linked to a personal passion for voice-based solutions: "The opportunity to combine my experience in international sales management with my 'old love' of voice solutions was an offer I couldn't refuse. Of course, there was also the exciting challenge of making my contribution to further expanding the market position of the fastest-growing provider of pick-by-voice solutions."
