With the ProGlove scanning solutions, Panasonic Toughbook further rounds off its offering for the logistics sector. The ProGlove glove scanner can be used as a stand-alone scanning solution or as part of voice picking solutions for logistics, warehouse operations, inventory control and retail.

ProGlove MARK is a smart glove scanner. It can reduce scanning time by up to 50 percent and cut the error rate by 33 percent, the company promises. The solution generally replaces wired or wireless hand and ring scanners and allows operators to have their hands free to perform other tasks. The picking solution is suitable for static, semi-static and dynamic workstations in production and logistics, including assembly, material handling, quality control, incoming/outgoing goods, picking and material handling.

The ProGlove MARK series fits into the overall Panasonic Toughbook solution for warehouse and picking processes. This flexible total solution for voice picking (Pick by Voice) is based on the handheld Toughbook N1 or the Toughbook A3 tablet, with an integrated barcode scanner or the ProGlove MARK, a Bluetooth headset, a holster or shoulder strap and a customized voice application, e.g. developed with Toughbook Omnia.
