Dirk Nopens new Managing Director of Mieloo & Alexander

Mieloo &Alexander Business Integrators, a Dutch logistics consultancy, is on course for growth: the company - which specializes in providing state-of-the-art technical solutions in the field of Auto-ID - has established its own branch in Germany. This is the company's response to increased demand on the German market. Dirk Nopens, an internationally experienced sales manager, is taking over as Managing Director.

Since its foundation in 2000, Mieloo & Alexander has been active internationally and has successfully completed projects for many renowned German customers, including Sony Germany, the REWE Group, Arvato Bertelsmann, Bonprix, AB Enzymes and Viessmann. The demand for sophisticated technical solutions for complex tracking and tracing processes has steadily increased, for example with regard to the optimization of European supply chains.

Germany is a key market in this area. As a system integrator that focuses on intelligent tracking and tracing systems, the development in the DACH region is of particular importance to Mieloo & Alexander, as the two founders and managing directors of the Dutch parent company, Sander Merkx and Joseph Owusu, emphasize: "The market for RFID process solutions is expected to grow by an average of 15 to 20 percent over the next ten years. At the same time, the demand for a 24-hour service for the implemented IT systems will increase. We intend to invest heavily in this segment in particular. We are also seeing a sharp rise in demand for technically sophisticated solutions in the area of RFID and IoT applications, particularly in the DACH region. In Dirk Nopens, we have a proven specialist on board who has many years of experience in the introduction of RFID and IoT applications in industry and logistics and, as an engineer, has the necessary technical expertise."

Nopens has already worked with Mieloo & Alexander on the customer side and was impressed by the company's knowledge advantage in the field of RFID solutions. In his role as Managing Director Germany, Nopens will assume overall responsibility for the German-speaking region for Mieloo & Alexander, developing new market segments and exploring the potential of innovative wireless technologies. LoRa technology, for example, could soon enable new solutions - a decisive competitive advantage, and not just in logistics. "Our job is to keep an eye on the many technical possibilities and develop the best solution in each case," says Nopens. Technology is important, but not the key to success per se: "As fascinating as the possibilities are: It makes no sense to shoot sparrows with cannons. We rely on experienced employees who are familiar with the various technologies and know how they work in different processes and environments. In this way, we guarantee planning reliability and the optimum solution for our customers. This is exactly where our strength lies. "
