This aspect of the development of plastic containers and pallets into intelligent load carriers is becoming increasingly important in the context of rapidly advancing digitalization in logistics. In Nuremberg, for example, Utz will be exhibiting a pallet that has been awarded the Packaging Prize and has two RFID tags embedded in its feet. These pool pallets are already recorded on delivery and assigned to the customer's system before delivery. All of this is fully automated.
