Vertical order picker

Katja Preydel,

Zech adds to its forklift fleet

In the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, the importance of cleanliness and hygiene has increasingly come into focus. Zech, based in Straubing, has been a specialist in this field for much longer: for almost 180 years. The company sells quality products for hygiene and care in Lower Bavaria, Upper Bavaria and the Upper Palatinate. Over 20,000 items are always available.

On-time delivery is one of the elements of the company's philosophy and is ensured by efficient logistics. High-performance industrial trucks that meet the requirements of the 6,000 square meter warehouse with more than 7,000 pallet spaces are an important prerequisite. The forklift fleet has been constantly expanded for years.

The latest addition is a V10 vertical order picker from Linde. The cab and all operating elements meet the ergonomic requirements for fatigue-free working. The order picker can also be used mechanically or inductively guided or freely movable - each with a maximum load capacity of 1,000 kilograms.

The new vertical order picker is now one of around 26 vehicles, including pallet trucks, electric forklifts and narrow-aisle trucks, that Zech has purchased from Beutlhauser at the Hagelstadt site as a loyal customer. The company is very satisfied with the handling performance of the forklifts. The 80-strong Zech team also appreciates the fact that support from service technician Matthias Löw is always guaranteed.
