UniCarriers: Extensive forklift fleet for VLS Group

UniCarriers has supplied the forklift fleet for the VLS Group's new logistics center. In Mannheim, nine TX3-16 electric counterbalance trucks, two DX25 gas-powered counterbalance trucks, two UMS160 reach trucks and six narrow-aisle trucks transport sensitive goods from the chemical industry.

UniCarriers has also integrated four additional narrow-aisle trucks at the VLS Group site in Frankfurt. The TX3-16 and DX25 forklift trucks are used in the finished goods warehouse for loading and unloading trucks and containers as well as staging and order picking. The DX25 has a shock- and noise-absorbing driver's cab. The VLS Group uses UMS160 reach trucks and narrow-aisle trucks for storage and retrieval in the finished goods and narrow-aisle warehouse.
