Sustainable solutions for intralogistics
In Stuttgart, the expert in battery charging technology will be demonstrating how energy consumption can be reduced and the operation of industrial trucks made more efficient thanks to modern charging systems, intelligent battery management and services relating to the charging process, all in the spirit of sustainable intralogistics.
Sustainability is always an important aspect for Fronius when developing new systems and technologies. With the Ri charging process, the company has launched a process on the market that ensures maximum energy efficiency and a long battery service life. As the process does not follow a rigid characteristic curve, the battery only receives as much power as it needs during the charging phase. This significantly reduces energy consumption andCO2 emissions. Functions such as the delayed charging start prevent expensive peak power consumption - for example, when all industrial trucks arrive at the charging stations at the same time at the end of a shift.
