Low-emission operation, maintenance-free brakes

Clark has equipped the GTS series with new HMC diesel and LPG engines. The environmentally friendly industrial engines comply with EU emission level 5 and ensure powerful and economical operation.

The GTS series with diesel and LPG forklifts, load capacities from two to 3.3 tons and lifting heights of up to 7,315 millimetres is now designed to be more environmentally friendly. The series is built according to the "built to last" principle - with solid construction and high-quality, durable components. The wet multi-disc brakes fitted as standard, the separate gearbox, the stable, vibration-free steering axle and the ergonomic driver's workplace make this series robust, reliable, comfortable and safe. This makes it suitable for intensive use in multi-shift operations in goods distribution, production or warehousing. Maintenance costs over the entire life cycle remain low thanks to the new low-maintenance timing chain.

New HMC four-cylinder industrial engines

The powerful HMC four-cylinder industrial engines with diesel particulate filters ensure powerful acceleration and reliable operation, while at the same time reducing fuel consumption. The engine output is 48.7 kilowatts with a displacement of 2,199 cubic centimetres. As the engine and transmission are installed separately from the drive axle, vibrations and oscillations at the driver's seat are kept to a minimum.

The maximum speed can be adjusted via an optional speed limiter to optimally adapt the performance to the individual application. Compared to vehicles with drum brakes, the GTS series with encapsulated and oil-cooled multi-disc brakes requires up to 50 percent less effort. Downtimes and costs for brake maintenance are eliminated because they are maintenance-free compared to drum brakes. Another advantage: working in dusty or wet environments has no negative impact on the braking effect.

Lots of ergonomics built in

Head and legroom, a suspension seat and the individually adjustable steering column make the driver's workplace attractive and ergonomic. The pedals are arranged in line with automotive design and can be operated intuitively. The vehicle is operated via conveniently positioned hydraulic levers; up to five hydraulic functions can be implemented ex works. The hydrostatic power steering enables easy and safe steering with just a few turns of the steering wheel. The driver also has a good field of vision through the mast thanks to the low front wall. The clear driver display provides information on all important operating data; the diesel particulate filter is also monitored here on diesel engines. Low-noise lifting operations, mast damping and smooth and precise load handling are further attributes of the GTS series. Various safety features and a large selection of additional equipment to customize the trucks to the application make the trucks complete.
