Charging industrial trucks with solar power and optimizing self-consumption - this is possible with a new function in the Charge-and-Connect portal from Fronius Perfect Charging.
PV Connect helps users to operate their forklift truck fleet optimally. With this function, users can use the solar energy they produce themselves to charge their industrial trucks. The feature combines efficient battery charging technology with Fronius photovoltaics. Users reduce energy costs and at the same time make a contribution to sustainability within the company.
Earnings forecasts increase predictability
Customers benefit from maximum availability of industrial trucks and increase their competitiveness. Users can control their own consumption individually: PV Connect provides precise weather and PV yield forecasts for this purpose. The forklift operator can therefore plan and time the charging optimally. In combination with the load-balancing charging algorithm, users can adapt their charging processes to the availability of PV energy and determine when to use the self-generated energy.
