Fronius battery charging technology now with a five-year product warranty
Fronius chargers impress the market with an average failure rate of 0.3 percent and a life expectancy of up to 20 years. This is due in part to the high-quality charging technology developed in-house and the stringent test procedures. Fronius has now taken this high quality standard as an opportunity to offer a five-year warranty on its chargers. This applies both to the Selectiva 4.0 series, which is suitable for charging all types of lead-acid batteries, and to the new SelectION product family, which has been specially developed for use with lithium-ion batteries. "We want to provide our customers with the highest possible reliability and cost efficiency in charging technology. This has been our driving force for more than 75 years," explains Gojer.
Fronius Perfect Charging, the specialist for battery charging technology, has therefore been focusing on the highest quality for more than 75 years. The chargers are confronted with a wide variety of conditions during operation. "We strive to leave nothing to chance and test our chargers in our in-house laboratories. In these laboratories, they have to remain reliable when exposed to different environmental influences and operating conditions. Only when we are certain that our devices meet higher criteria than those prescribed by the usual standards can they be delivered to our customers," says Patrick Gojer, Business Unit Manager Perfekt Charging, summing up Fronius' quality standards.
