The finalists of the StaplerCup impressed with great precision and speed. At the 15th German Forklift Driving Championship and the 5th German Championship for female forklift drivers on the Schlossplatz in Aschaffenburg, it was once again evident that the professionals in the StaplerCup arena have an excellent grip on the forks of their forklifts.

62 participants and one female participant in the German Forklift Driving Championships and twelve finalists in the German Forklift Driving Championships competed against each other.

After three preliminary rounds, the top three female forklift drivers had already been determined for the final round: Anna-Lena Wisser from Herborn had fought her way to defending her title. Daniela Eilers from Wertheim was determined to top her second places from 2017 and 2018 this year and Melanie Holl from Felsberg was heading for the winner's podium for the first time. Wisser squandered an early lead with a careless move, bringing Holl and Eilers back into the game. However, Daniela Eilers' rook fell completely unexpectedly on the very last few centimetres. As a result, Holl's tactics, which had worked with the utmost composure right from the start, paid off: she became the new German champion in the pile-driving event. Anna-Lena Wisser took second place and Daniela Eilers also came third.

The German Stacker Championship, for which both men and women can qualify, was just as exciting. Jörg Klößinger, the most popular favorite after the retirement of defending champion Thomas Kirsten, completed the stacking task a full nine seconds faster than the next best competitor. However, the man from Petersaurach then failed by milliseconds in the semi-final against the 2016 German champion, Maximilian Üblacker Jr. In his seventh appearance in Aschaffenburg, Erwin Brummer from Rohrbach made it into the final three for the first time. The third candidate in the battle for the podium was Sebastian Schenkelberg from Isenburg-Neuwieder. And after practising six times, everything simply fell into place for the 51-year-old Brummer. Üblacker came second.
