Assistance systems for forklift truck drivers
Yale with European premiere at Logimat 2024
At Logimat, Yale Lift Truck Technologies is focusing on ergonomics and occupational safety with Yale Reliant, a package of state-of-the-art assistance systems for forklift truck drivers.
In Stuttgart, the provider of intralogistics solutions will be showing how warehouses can optimize their opportunities and overcome their biggest challenges. Visitors to the stand will experience a live demonstration of Yale Reliant. The system keeps an eye on people, vehicles and loads at all times and helps to identify and avoid hazards. With around 5,000 units already in use in the USA, it is a multi-award-winning solution that has been developed with customer-oriented design.
Yale Reliant combines location-based and event-based functions. For example, when operators lift loads above the recommended height, in the event of heavy pedestrian traffic, obstacles or other hazards. At the end of aisles, at junctions or when obstacles appear, the system automatically reduces speed. Pedestrian areas are also avoided. The fork height adapts to the surroundings. Sight lines support the driver.
Logistics managers around the world are looking for solutions that support safety in the warehouse across all forklift types. With the Yale Reliant system, Yale Lift Truck Technologies is responding to the trend towards higher goods turnover coupled with a shortage of skilled workers in the logistics market.
