Wave multifunctional vehicle now also with lithium-ion technology
The vehicles in the WAV 60 series can now be ordered with two different lithium-ion battery configurations. Customers have the choice: For normal operation applications, Crown offers its V-Force lithium-ion compact battery with 24 volts and 105 ampere hours with an integrated 50 ampere charger. Alternatively, a configuration with 210 amp hours and an external charger is available for continuous operation. The following applies to both configurations: If the Wave needs to be charged, it is simply connected to a normal socket.
"The advantages of lithium-ion batteries are well-known and obvious," explains Alexander Möllenkamp, Marketing Product Manager EMEA at Crown. "This means that the Wave can be used more flexibly than ever, as it is also available at short notice for unforeseen applications. The higher efficiency of the maintenance-free lithium-ion batteries also means that our customers can achieve significant productivity increases and cost savings in their companies in the long term."
