Linde Material Handling is presenting three new tugger train models, each with a choice of lithium-ion or lead-acid batteries:

  • The Linde P40 C with a load capacity of four tons, a rated pulling force of 800 newtons and a maximum speed of 8/13 kilometers per hour (with/without load).
  • The Linde P40 C B with a load capacity of four tons, a rated pulling force of 800 newtons and a maximum speed of 8/10 kilometers per hour (with/without load).
  • The Linde P60 C with a load capacity of six tons, a nominal tractive force of 1,200 newtons and a maximum speed of 8/13 kilometers per hour (with/without load).

All models are 800 millimetres wide and can also be maneuvered in narrow aisles. The operator has a clear view of the working environment, trailer, coupling and load from the driver's platform. At the same time, the driver's body remains within the protective vehicle contours at all times. In the event of a collision, bumpers absorb the forces.

The vehicles are equipped with safety systems as standard. Linde Curve Control, for example, reduces the speed in bends - depending on the steering angle of the steering wheel. The optional Linde BlueSpot projects a blue light spot onto the ground in front of the tractor to warn pedestrians. Glare-free LED headlights provide the driver with a clear view of the road even in poorly lit alleys.

The machines are brought to a standstill by three independently operating brake systems. The electromagnetic servo brake (Linde Brake Control) is connected to the emergency stop switch and acts automatically as a so-called dead man's function when the drive switch is released. The vehicle also stops automatically when the driver gets off the platform. The hydraulically assisted braking system in turn works in proportion to the load weight: more load, more braking force.

Further advantages of Linde tractors: The optimized platform suspension reduces human vibrations by 30 percent compared to previous models. The wide, low entry as well as the height-adjustable steering wheel and an adjustable backrest with folding seat offer the operator comfort. Double castors ensure stability and traction in all driving situations. There is a choice of four wheel types with different material and grip properties depending on the environmental conditions and ground conditions, as well as different coupling variants depending on the trailer type.
