IFOY AWARD excludes Russia
The IFOY organization has excluded Russia from participation in the IFOY AWARD. Representatives of Russia on the jury and the advisory board are relieved of their duties until further notice.
The statement of the IFOY organization reads:
"Russian jurors can no longer vote for the winners or participate in the IFOY Award events. This initially affects the IFOY Test Days with the Test Camp Intralogistics from March 21 to 23, 2022 in Dortmund and the award ceremony on June 30, 2022 in Munich. Visitors and exhibitors from Russia will also be banned from attending. We will decide whether to exclude Russian manufacturers from the IFOY Award 2023 in good time before the start of the application phase in August 2022.
This decision was not easy for us, but we believe there is no alternative in order to send a signal against the unprecedented war of aggression against Ukraine. We would like to take this opportunity to emphasize that this step does not alter our respect for the judges, media, applicants and visitors who have represented Russia on the IFOY AWARD committees. We have highly appreciated their competence and cooperation in the IFOY network. We personally ask for their understanding and hope that we will meet again soon in peace."
