Fricke Group relies on psb intralogistics

psb intralogistics, provider of intralogistics solutions, is supplying the complete intralogistics system for the Fricke Group's new logistics center in Tholey. The location in south-west Germany offers good access to the southern German, French and southern European markets thanks to shorter shipping routes.

The Fricke Group, headquartered in Heeslingen, Lower Saxony, is one of the leading suppliers of agricultural machinery, garden & municipal technology and commercial vehicles as well as their spare parts and components. With a total of 84 locations, Fricke is active in 27 countries.

Further expansion stages possible

The new logistics center will have a usable area of 80,000 square meters. The focus of the modern intralogistics concept is on a high degree of automation and a flexibly expandable system that easily allows further expansion stages in terms of storage and processing capacity.

Convincing concept and vertical integration

"In psb intralogistics, we have found the right partner with whom we can implement this large and challenging project," explains Hans-Peter Fricke, owner and Managing Director of the Fricke Group. "In addition to the convincing concept, the high level of vertical integration at psb was also a decisive factor for us. The majority of the elements of our future system will be designed, realized and programmed at psb in Pirmasens. This offers us the necessary planning security."
