Beumer Group honored
The Beumer Group is one of the winners of the German Excellence Award 2020. The system provider was honored in the "Digital Strategy (Start-ups)" category.
The company was honored for its Company Builder Beam in Berlin at the end of January for outstanding achievements in the German economy.
"Digital - innovative - creative" was the motto of the 2020 Excellence Award, which aims to put the spotlight on companies that have made a name for themselves with their special commitment and outstanding achievements. Prizes are awarded for products, services, campaigns, projects and movers and shakers - regardless of the size of the company. This year, this includes the Beumer Group in the "Digital Strategy (Start-ups)" category. With its Company Builders Beam activities in Berlin, the Group is trying to solve major problems in logistics together with start-up teams. To do this, it looks for young companies with relevant business ideas or supports them until they are founded. The goal: Beam plans to create three start-ups per year and transfer them into a separate company under a common umbrella. Together with these young companies, the system provider wants to open up new business areas in logistics.
