AMI strengthens international activities

At the Fachpack trade fair in Nuremberg, AMI Managing Director Stefan Brenner (pictured, center), Kampanart Tanpithaksidh (pictured right), Director Robot System Co. Ltd, Thailand and Serge Tousignant (pictured, left), President Systemex Group, Canada, signed a cooperation agreement in the field of automated intralogistics and production logistics. Both partner companies specialize in robot and camera-based systems and thus ideally complement AMI's comprehensive intralogistics portfolio, which includes automated systems for conveyor technology, order picking and dispatch provision.

"With this collaboration," says Brenner, "we want to achieve our strategic market goals in South East Asia and North America, important growth markets for automation, in the medium term. In addition, this partnership offers us the opportunity to support our customers in these regions, who operate globally from Germany and Europe, with the planning and implementation of automated intralogistics systems and also to provide local service for these systems".

The intralogistics and automation specialist AMI has areas of application in almost all sectors of industry and commerce in both regions. The technological focus is on both partially and fully automated systems and robot-supported systems for use in intralogistics, manufacturing and industrial assembly.

Both partner companies, Systemex Automation and Robot System, which operate largely independently, will be supported in all technical and market-relevant matters from the AMI site in Luckenbach. The partnership is a further step by AMI towards expanding its international commitment and offers potential users technical expertise in the realization of automation projects within their global supply chain.
