New strategy for the warehousing and materials handling company
AMI increases focus on automation and networking
AMI Förder- und Lagertechnik GmbH intends to focus its business activities even more strongly than before on automation in intralogistics and the networking of intralogistics components and subsystems.
"We are focusing our business in the field of automation more strongly because the market demands this commitment and we are thus also meeting the demands of operators for greater system flexibility and networking of intralogistics," says AMI Managing Director Stefan Brenner.
AMI is supported in this commitment by its high in-house production depth of over 87%, which, with the production of special components and subsystems, allows it to respond to a high degree to customer-specific requirements with regard to the design and planning of the respective intralogistics solution. In this context, the integration and networking of robot-supported solutions, e.g. in order picking and palletizing, as well as the logistics software solutions that support networking, are of central importance.
All in all, AMI's philosophy of a stronger focus on automation involves working together with the customer to develop the right intralogistics solution with the right degree of automation for the task in hand.
