AFB: Easier storage and retrieval of containers
The AFB-Miniload is one of the new and lightweight generation of load handling attachments (LAM) for containers. At LogiMAT, the Haiger-based manufacturer AFB will be presenting two new products for single or multiple-deep storage and retrieval in small parts warehouses. Both load handling devices were developed as part of customer projects and impress with their very compact and flat design. The previous design and the components used were scrutinized and the new LAMs were trimmed for optimized lightweight aluminium construction. Because the drive will in future be mounted on the side and no longer under the device, there will be more space under the LAM, which means that the existing storage volume can be better utilized. Warehouse operators and system integrators can therefore accommodate more bin locations or levels in the same space and height.
