6DC from Haidlmair stands for "6 drinks crate". At the K 2022, visitors were able to experience what it's all about: The tool is used to produce a drinks container for six bottles. Special features include the predominant use of recycled material, real-time monitoring and documentation of production and short cycle times. The readers of Kunststoff Magazin voted 6DC 2nd place in the mold construction and design category.

Haidlmair is focusing its appearance at K in Düsseldorf entirely on sustainability. The tools can be seen in action both at the stand itself and with partners.

What is the tool actually doing right now?

Transparency in the flow of information along the supply chain: Digital Moulds, 4zero (P3 Group) and Tributech have developed a solution that enables OEMs to actively monitor their tools in the injection molding process and ensure that their equipment is used correctly and maintained accordingly by the contracted manufacturers.
