Plastic instead of wood - this also works for pallets

With the new Euro-L1 pallet, the Craemer Group has developed a sustainable and robust plastic pallet which, according to the manufacturer, meets the highest requirements.

The intralogistics systems of numerous European companies in production, trade and logistics are adapted to the dimensions of the Euro wooden pallet. With a height of 150 millimetres, a length of 1,200 millimetres and a width of 800 millimetres, the new product from Craemer unsurprisingly corresponds to this Euro dimension. This makes the newly developed solution an alternative to conventional pallets. In contrast to wood, which wears out and can splinter in everyday use, Craemer considers its Euro L1, which is injection-molded in one piece from polyethylene (PE), to be extremely robust and extremely durable.

Suitable for all logistics applications, Craemer's splinter-free plastic pallet is designed primarily for automated high-bay warehouses. It is compatible with old and new systems, with all light barriers and sensors and, thanks to its special design, runs maintenance-free and trouble-free on all commercially available conveyor technology elements, chain conveyors and roller conveyors. The Euro L1 can also be controlled via standard storage and retrieval machines, palletizers and depalletizers. Its load capacity with five stiffening profiles is 7,500 kilograms in a static state and 1,250 kilograms in motion and in high-bay racking.

Further advantages of the new pallet are its Palgrip elements. As a long-standing manufacturer of plastic pallets, Craemer has developed an anti-slip coating with Palgrip. This comes as standard on the upper deck in the form of abrasion-resistant, welded anti-slip strips. They ensure that the load remains in place under a wide range of conditions, even on slopes and in damp conditions. Three flat, closed skids support a smooth material flow. They are also optionally available as welded Palgrip anti-slip runners for optimum running smoothness on roller conveyors or chain conveyors.

Optional equipment with transponders for radio frequency identification (RFID) turns the plastic pallet into a traceable, "intelligent" information carrier. Other quality features include outer edge variants or stiffening profiles as well as temperature resistance from -30 °C to +40 °C, and up to +90 °C for short periods.
