E&K Automation: Ultra-flat platform

E&K Automation GmbH (EK) is exhibiting what it describes as a "technological milestone in transport robotics". An ultra-flat transport platform is celebrating its world premiere at the stand of the specialist for automated guided vehicles (AGVs). The high-performance transport robot impresses with maximum mobility, multifunctional equipment options and scalable dimensions. In addition, the AGV manufacturer will be presenting a cost-efficient, quickly deliverable solution for automated pallet trucks under the motto "Out-of-the-box" transport robotics and offering the Smart Move series vehicles as non-binding on-site test packages. At the "Digital Intralogistics Planning" terminal, trade visitors can experience digitalization live and take a virtual journey into the intralogistics of the future. With the platform, EK is opening up new dimensions in transport robotics. The vehicle, which is just 130 millimetres flat, 610 millimetres narrow and 1,380 millimetres short, combines flexibility and performance in a minimal installation space.
