DS Automotion: Sally - navigating freely on course for the future

The Alpbach Business Talks focused on the interaction between humans and autonomous machines. This topic was also presented to the participants in a practical way: In the foyer of the event venue, the innovative driverless transport vehicle Sally from DS Automotion interacted directly with the visitors and made some of the topics discussed in Alpbach directly tangible. A surprise awaited the participants: on their way to the plenary session, they were greeted by Sally, a freely navigating logistics robot on course for the future. The compact cyber-physical vehicle from DS Automotion in Linz, one of the world's leading manufacturers of automated guided vehicles (AGVs), took photos of the visitors and gave them a printed image. In this way, it demonstrated the safe cooperation between man and machine.
