After Erwin Hymer acquired the rights to manufacture aluminum ladders from aircraft manufacturer Dornier in 1962, he and Fritz Lang initially began production in Neumühle near Wangen. In 1970, production moved to Wangen/Käferhofen. The production area there was expanded again in 2019 to 5000 m². © Hymer
