Rhewa networks weighing technology

To avoid media disruptions during digitization, weighing technology manufacturer Rhewa works with databases that are either stored in the evaluation device (terminal) or on a server database.

Article master data or transaction data such as variable order data is stored and can be retrieved or written back from different scales. The focus is on networking the weighing technology, as the data should not have to be entered again once it is in the customer's system. Datalog as a service takes care of the provision and processing of weighing data. This service controls communication with the various data tables on the SQL server and supplies the individual scales with the data via LAN or WLAN, even across individual locations if required. The service can address or query individual data tables within the database for each scale. There is no need for complex interfaces.
