Checkweigher checks food to the nearest gram
Bizerba presents a new checkweigher for dynamic weight control of pre-packed products in the fresh and dry food sector. The fully automatic CWHmaxx checkweigher checks up to 250 packs per minute. It can be used in production for checking fill quantities, sorting and classifying. The checkweigher can sort packs according to weight class and reliably rejects food with the wrong weight. In order to comply with hygiene guidelines in the best possible way, the frame is made of stainless steel, is open at the bottom and has no unnecessary corners or edges at the top. All components of the system are mounted on the frame, which also makes it easier to move. To minimize downtimes, all installed conveyor belts can be changed quickly and without tools. With an optional metal detector, the device also tests the products for foreign objects. The combined system has a central display and operating unit and an article memory for up to 100,000 products. A 12-inch touchscreen displays all data and facilitates management.
