LogiMAT 2019
The world's first automated multi-storey high-bay warehouse
At LogiMAT 2019, Telejet (development) and ICO Innovative Computer GmbH (sales/support) will be presenting Storojet, a revolutionary storage and picking system in live operation.
The Storojet is a flexible, self-contained storage and retrieval system with efficient use of space. The different levels are connected to each other via elevators and enable small autonomous robots to transport goods carriers to picking stations in an energy-efficient manner. In addition to optimized space utilization of up to six meters in height, an unrivalled increase in picking times of between 30 and 80 % can easily be achieved.
In more detail, this means that in an area rack up to 6 m high with levels mounted on top of each other (vertical distance 17 - 100 cm), as in a parking garage, many goods carriers in the form of panels are placed close together and moved, coupled and uncoupled with compact robots. The product carriers can be equipped with individual compartments depending on the products to be stored. The robots are not rail-bound, can move freely and are orchestrated by the central system via radio. The robots are the size of a robotic mower for domestic use.

The individual shelving areas have a footprint of 1.2 x 1.6 m and are connected to each other using steel columns. True to the motto: Not the same for everyone, but the right thing for everyone, individual shelving systems can be realized on the basis of these base areas, depending on the shape and height of the warehouse. For example, in addition to a classic cuboid, a U or L shape can also be designed around a production line. Output takes place at any number of picking stations. The picker sees the current packing list on his monitor. Several robots receive the order in advance, pick up the goods and line up at the output point at waist height. The goods to be picked are illuminated directly in the respective compartment of the goods carrier by a lighting unit mounted above (pick-by-light) and only need to be removed.
