These include, for example, concepts for low room heights: Thanks to the V-Chain drag chain, the Jumboflex on the flat jib gains valuable centimetres below the crane jib. When loading or unloading pallets, for example, the high-stack and low-stack versions of the vacuum tube lifter enable significantly more ergonomic work processes. With the SRBC collaborative rope balancer, Schmalz is also demonstrating the benefits of digital technologies for manual handling. Sensors detect movement impulses that are directly supported by motors. Users can define work areas whose specified limits are automatically adhered to by the SRBC. The balancer also recognizes which gripper is connected. It recognizes where and whether objects may be placed and records process parameters. Another highlight will be the SLG lightweight gripper for cobots. Users configure it online according to their handling task. The program supports the user in every step and transmits the finished design data directly to the 3D printing service. The result is a weight-optimized gripper that has been specially developed for use with collaborative robots.
