Rytle cargo bike also rolls in the USA

The technology for the so-called last mile is now also available in North America. The Bremen-based company Rytle and the American commercial vehicle manufacturer Silver Eagle Manufacturing from Portland (Oregon) are cooperating to solve existing logistics problems with products developed in Germany

Both companies recently took the first step at the "TMC Annual Meeting & Transportation Technology Exhibition 2019" in Atlanta, Georgia. In the USA, the signs are also good for the "last mile". Gary Gaussoin, owner of Silver Eagle, explains: "The partnership we have entered into with Rytle brings together German engineering and our local production. Together we can now establish the smartest urban logistics technology in North America."

"Sustainability, alternative mobility concepts, efficiency and speed paired with lower costs are playing an increasingly important role in urban logistics. Operators and fleets can choose from different levels of solutions on how best to deploy them in dense urban environments," adds Dr. Arne Kruse, co-founder of Rytle. "We are more than happy to have found professional partners to promote Rytle in North America. As a reliable specialist in the market, Silver Eagle will take over the production. With UPS as one of our leading customers and test partners in Germany and Europe, we will take the next steps in implementing e-bike technology in the USA," says Ingo Lübs.

Together with a pool of experts, Rytle GmbH created an innovative system to move inner-city logistics towards the future: Self-sufficient mobile micro-depots (HUB) for trucks and electrically powered, certified, three-wheeled cargo bikes (Rytle MovR25) with a swap function for standardized transport boxes (Rytle Box). In addition, a suitable software platform networks all participants with each other in real time. But this is not the only highlight: the MovR can also be ridden without a driver's license, offers the rider optimum protection, is easy to operate and is approved as a pedelec 25 and work tool.
