Krone honors stem cell donors

Spelle/Werlte, 19.03.2018- 621 Krone employees have registered as potential stem cell donors at the typing campaigns in Werlte (2007) and Spelle (2014). A total of 23 Krone employees, the majority of whom registered during these campaigns or in some cases during public patient campaigns, have since become real donors.

Petra Ennenbach from DKMS gemeinnützige GmbH and Bernard Krone thanked the donors for this. Petra Ennenbach emphasized that this rate is exceptionally high and very remarkable. "There are actually already 23 people in the Krone Group who have donated stem cells for their "genetic twin" - that's really great and I would like to express my sincere thanks for this selfless commitment on behalf of DKMS and our patients." Bernard Krone, Managing Partner of the Krone Group, thanked the donors as well as the Krone works councils. "The initiative for the typing campaigns came from our works councils; we were of course happy to support this on the part of the management - and the response to the campaign was really very good at both sites. I would therefore like to thank all Krone employees who have already registered. Who knows if someone might need their help soon." red
