With a 14-meter-high automated small parts warehouse (AKL) in the main exhibition of the Swiss Museum of Transport in Lucerne, SSI Schaefer gives visitors a glimpse behind the scenes of intralogistics.

The KION Group has added a third production hall to its site in Stříbro, near Pilsen in the Czech Republic. The 25,550 square meter hall will be used by the KION subsidiary Dematic. Conveyor belts, pocket sorters and storage and sorting equipment are manufactured at the Czech site.

Körber, a provider of supply chain software and automation technologies, has been commissioned by the international retail group JYSK to equip a new, highly automated distribution center in Ecser near Budapest.
