The Federal Minister of Transport Andreas Scheuer honored Prof. Dr. Dr. h. c. Michael ten Hompel, Managing Director of the Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics IML, with the "Hermes Verkehrs.Logistik.Preis 2019" in the Vienna Hofburg.
