Heuel Logistics has appointed Gerald Mayrhofer to the Management Board. In his role, he has been responsible for sales development and contract logistics, among other things, since October 2022. He is also overseeing the expansion of sea and air freight as new business areas for the logistics group.

A new logistics location, the so-called Global Parts Center, is being built in Halberstadt as the heart of the global spare parts supply. In future, deliveries can be made from this central location.

Based on preliminary figures, the logistics company Röhlig Logistics was able to significantly increase its earnings in 2022.

Charging infrastructure for electric vehicles
Gruber Logistics will add 50 electric trucks to its fleet over the next two years. The European logistics company is also planning to set up its own charging infrastructure for the electric vehicles.

Sven Hornig has been appointed CSO (Chief Sales Officer) of NOSTA Logistics in Osnabrück with effect from January 1, 2023.

More logistics space in Rottenburg am Neckar
With the construction of an additional warehouse in Rottenburg am Neckar, Dachser is further expanding its storage capacity for its customers.
Logistics service provider Fiege has expanded the multi-user center in the south-east of Hamburg by an additional hall. A total of around 90,000 square meters of logistics space is now available for customers from various industries.

Hellmann has opened a new branch in Neumünster. The road activities in Schleswig-Holstein are to be further expanded from the location 50 km north of Hamburg.
Cooperation between Elvis, Wiese and Krone
The new double-decker semi-trailer presented by Europäische Ladungs-Verbund Internationaler Spediteure (ELVIS) AG promises more stability, better handling, shorter turnaround times and thus greater efficiency in part-load transportation.
