Yaskawa once again among the "Top 100 Global Innovators"
Yaskawa hits the triple: the Japanese technology group is on the list of the "Top 100 Global Innovators" for the third year in a row. The coveted report honors the world's most innovative companies every year.

The media group Thomson Reuters launched the award in 2011. The criteria for selecting the 100 most innovative companies worldwide are global reach, the number of patents registered and the lasting impact of inventions on shaping the future.
Founded over 100 years ago, Yaskawa is one of the pioneers in the fields of drive technology, industrial automation and robotics. Then as now, the focus is on solutions for the industry of tomorrow: "We are currently investing heavily in topics relating to Industry 4.0 and sustainable energy use," explained Manfred Stern (CEO & President, YASKAWA Europe and Corporate Vice-President, YASKAWA Electric) on the occasion of the award. "Numerous projects in this area are currently underway in all areas of the company, which have also been recognized by Thomson Reuters and acknowledged with this award."
With the "i3-Mechatronics" solution concept, Yaskawa is building a bridge between classic mechatronics and digital technologies. "i3" stands for integrated - intelligent - innovative. With the ability to generate and analyze machine and process data, i3-Mechatronics increases productivity and quality.
