Reorganization of Management Board responsibilities at Deutsche Messe

After years of expansion in foreign markets, Deutsche Messe AG is adapting its organizational structure to its increasing internationality. In the future, trade fairs will be assigned to competence areas and placed under one roof according to the principle of global brand responsibility. As part of this reorganization, the responsibilities of Deutsche Messe AG's Board of Management will change:

German Trade Fair
Dr. Jochen Köckler, Member of the Executive Board of Deutsche Messe, Hanover.

Dr. Jochen Köckler, Member of the Board of Management of Deutsche Messe AG, is taking over responsibility for Industries, Energy & Logistics. In addition to the Hannover Messe in Germany, he will be responsible for the global industry and energy trade fairs as well as the CeMAT trade fairs in Germany and abroad.

In addition, Köckler manages all guest events, such as EMO, IAA Commercial Vehicles and Agritechnica, as well as the Guest Events & New Trade Fairs staff department.

Dr. Andreas Gruchow, Member of the Board of Management of Deutsche Messe AG, is responsible for the Woodworking/Woodprocessing and Floor Coverings areas of expertise.

Oliver Frese, Member of the Board of Management of Deutsche Messe AG, will remain responsible for the ICT & Digital Business competence area and will thus be in charge of all other ICT trade fairs abroad in addition to CeBIT in Hanover.

As Chairman of the Board of Management of Deutsche Messe AG, Dr. Wolfram von Fritsch will continue to be responsible for Finance & Legal Affairs, Marketing & PR, Human Resources and Organization, Internal Audit, Strategic Program Management and the Digital Office.
